Vern

Co-Owner Vern, Passionate about art since childhood, Vern followed her love through the academic world. After completing a bachelors degree in Fine Art with a focus in painting and drawing at St. Ambrose University, Vern took a leap into the world of tattooing. She apprenticed in Florida, moved back home to the quad cities and tattooed at a shop professionally for over 5 years. She then decided to switch up the scenery and move to Maine to start her next chapter! 

After working at Broken Crow Collective for a year, she decided it was time to open her own studio! She specializes in narrative, nature based, illustrative style tattooing with a focus on large scale black and grey and fine line designs.  

Miranda has been artistically driven since childhood. There wasn't a medium she didn't like, but at age 12, she picked up her first camera and never looked back. She began her business at age 14 and furthered her technical skills through a BFA in photography at the University of Arizona. As she continued to refine her photography skills and pursue other art forms, she fell in love with tattooing and embarked on the journey that lead her to Inkni Studios. Done with her apprenticeship under Vern, Miranda looks forward to taking on clients and is looking to specialize in fine line and ornamental styles of tattooing

Co-Owner, Chris will be the person you are in contact with first! He manages the studio, as well as handling all the booking and inquires from our beloved customers. If you have any questions for him, feel free to ask. Chris is a veteran of the USAF, he's done civilian contracting in Saudi Arabia, as well as manage a tattoo shop for 5 years, Chris is currently apprenticing under Vern's mentorship. His style is leaning towards anime and pop culture.
