Saniderm helps protect the tattoo from bacteria and other elements for the best possible healing.
Keep the saniderm on for 3-5 days. You can shower with it, try not to soak the area too much, it will weaken the adhesive. Avoid taking baths.
You will see a buildup of blood and plasma mixed with ink under the saniderm, this is perfectly normal. If there’s a large amount of buildup, you may remove the saniderm after 24 hours.
Remove the saniderm from your tattoo in the shower, (it will help loosen the adhesive) make sure to gently wash it with unscented antibacterial soap and pat or air dry.
Apply a very thin layer of suggested aftercare ointment 2-3 times a day for 2 weeks, until the tattoo is fully healed (no more peeling, dry, or cracked skin).
DO NOT PICK OR SCRATCH at the tattoo at all as this can damage it during healing.
Keep out of saltwater, prolonged sun exposure, and chlorine for at least 4 weeks.
DO NOT re-bandage the tattoo after initial bandage is removed.
Wash new tattoo in luke-warm water with Dial non-scented antibacterial soap until surface ink and ointment is washed away.
Dry your tattoo by dabbing it with a paper towel, DO NOT drag the towel down the tattoo and do not use your bath towel -as they may harvest bad bacteria.
Apply thin layer of suggested aftercare or unscented moisturizer 2-3 times throughout the day for 5-7 days. (Aquaphor, hustle butter, etc.)
Continue using moisturizer daily until tattoo is fully healed (no more peeling or dry, cracked looking skin).
DO NOT PICK OR SCRATCH at the tattoo at all as this can damage it during healing.
